Office Assistant

The role of the Office Assistant is to ensure that the facilities and office services are maintained and run smoothly, such as changing light bulbs, making sure all office equipment (fax machine, copiers etc.) is working properly, restocking paper in the copy machines, mailing shipments, etc. This position plays a key role in responding to facility and general office requests. Must be a self-starter, be able to interface with a diverse group of people, and work well in a team environment. Summer Transition Program Director

The Summer Transition Program (STP) Director serves as the primary program administrator for the Summer Transition Program housed at the Vocational Rehabilitation Center, on the campus of VISIONS Center on Blindness. VRC Senior Assistive Technology Instructor

The Vocational Rehabilitation Center (VRC) Senior Assistive Technology Instructor at VISIONS Center on Blindness (VCB) is an individual with both depth and breadth of knowledge related to computer operating systems, commercial software applications, and accessible/assistive technologies used by persons with vision impairments. The AT Instructor is a skilled computer instructor who has experience teaching in group settings as well as one-on-one. The ideal candidate will be patient, creative, friendly, and flexible. The AT Instructor can work autonomously as needed but is equally comfortable working as part of a team. The AT Instructor develops new courses, prepares lesson plans, provides direct instruction, monitors and documents student progress.
