Since 1926, VISIONS has provided free vision rehabilitation, job training, social work, and older adult services to participants who are blind and visually impaired, and their family members. Today, we serve participants in NYC, Long Island, Westchester, and the Lower Hudson Valley. Our programs rely on, and succeed with the support of individuals and corporations like yours.
If you or your corporation are looking to get involved with VISIONS, we offer a range of volunteer and sponsorship opportunities that include:
Providing mock interviews and hosting our trained jobseekers as interns in your organization
Helping serve meals, facilitate classes, and offer companionship to participants at our Older Adult Center
Beautifying the grounds of VISIONS Center on Blindness, our year-round residential vision rehabilitation facility
Participating in our Community Advisory Boards or Golf Committee, helping to increase awareness and raise funds to support our free services
Funding VISIONS free programs and services through Community Relations or Foundation Giving
Providing your expertise, products, and/or services as in-kind donations to help enrich our programs
